Yes. The price of fuel will continue to climb for a few months. -The traffic in Houston is more terrible than usual because two major highways are still flooded where they cross the Buffalo Bayou, causing gridlock on surface streets. I saw a guy riding his GSXR on the sidewalk with his chick on the back because he couldn't deal with the traffic any longer.

While I never got my Ice Bear trike Zodiac's because of fuel prices more so enjoyment. I nice seeing it's helpful like going for store runs and going out to eat not worrying about the price of fuel only holds 2 gals and get 70 mile per gal. so at lease 210 miles and having fun at it. So fun per gals per miles right. And being in the Smoky Mnts is great riding also great seanery if the fire bugs stay away that is.

My daughter and her family live in Houston and miraculously had their homes and vehicles escape the flood. I think I want a scooter that can swim!
It will be a while before Houston and all the cities which took the direct hit from Harvey will be even close to normal again... Lots of prayer needed here!
Ride safe, stay dry!

..... And now with Irma wreaking havoc, look not only for gas, but the price of vehicles used or new (especially gas sippers) to go up as well. (How much ya want for that scooter?)

at the moment with Irma here, I'm about to put it up, because all the crazy stupid drivers from FL are now up here, and it's not safe to be on the road, there is a reason I hate going down there, now they are all here, I was nearly run down 6 times in a half an hour, people riding my and honking, then swerving around me, always FL plates

I just ordered a belt from partsforscooters Thursday night and it shipped today. I was a bit worried about it being shipped but it did, since PFS is in Florida. The belt may have shipped but I wonder if it will make it out in time with all the traffic jams. Completely understandable, and the belt is the least of my worries.
I wouldn't want to be anywhere near Irma.
