I have been working on a 2006 Honda metro.
I took the bike a part to replace the skid plate under the gas tank.
When I found parts on the bike that were made on the day of my brith day.
There is a steel bracket that screws onto the under side of the foot board that has 22 nov 2005 and now I am kind of curouious to see how much of the bike was made on that day.
Is there any way that I can kind out for sure if the bike was made on my brith day useing the v.i.n?

Did you buy it new? If used it is possible the former owner changed some parts.
Possibly the date of manufacture is a date of final assembly.

You're 8 years old? No I was born in  but some parts on the bike were made on my brith day in 2005. I did not buy the bike brand new but I am the first person to work on at as it was only used for one season then put away and never touched until I bought it in october. It only has 274 km's on it. Possibly the date of manufacture is a date of final assembly. That is what I am hoping to figure out. |

I emailed a Honda dealer ship they told me to email them the vin and they will try and find out what the exact day it was made.
I have not heared back as of yet I only emailed them back at 4pm and they close at 6pm so I won't hear anything until tomrrow now.

don't expect them to make a big push effort to find that for you. I don't think it will be a priority for them, give them a couple days at least.

i heared back from them they could not find out for me they told me to email honda canada so now i am waiting to hear from honda canada.
