Anybody bought a cone air filter off eBay for there 150. I have some eBay bucks to spend and was wanting to get one.

Hey John, I spoke with you through text last night if you want to message me some payment details,
I definitely still need to get one of those cones from you but I'm debating if it will go on my carb correctly still heh... plus the other issues I'm facing are still kind of messing with my head got to figure out what's causing it to bog down, seems like its not getting the right amount of air/gas flow etc...

I got mine off eBay scooter feels like its got a tad more power but its loud kinda gets on my nerves.

I have been wondering about the air filter mods.... do you have to rejet with air filter? I was under impression you do.......scooter runs fine but thought about tinkering lol  |

I like loud. Just put a new cone filter on my trike today. Good thing I did 'cause the factory one had two cracks in it.

It can be a balancing act. On some there will be a tuned port in the OEM airbox to improve low end performance by preventing the vaccume levels in the intake from dropping too low. The slide carb and fuel injection help but you will still see tuned ports in the airbox to help balance things out and minimize bogging.

I put on a new cone air filter & now there's no tube coming from the engine. Could that be causing the miss when speeding up? K Wayne.
