Generic 50cc Chinese scooter, GY6. After sitting in the shed a few years it's not wanting to idle. I'm sure the carb needs a cleaning and it's probably the problem, but before I pull it I noticed a broken hose. Is this just emissions garbage? It being disconnected, shouldnt cause it to run differently should it? I attached the pic but im not seeing it... it's located here: imgur.com/a/LWLmi |

It being disconnected, shouldnt cause it to run differently should it?  Speculating part of the emissions system to recirculate vapors into the engine air intake. In some videos these lines are open to atmosphere.

Great. I'll look at those videos. I took the jets out and cleaned them a bit but my pilot jet seems clogged lengthwise. Like hard as a rock.

This bastard will not give. Tried boiling it, soaking it in cleaner, boiling it again, nothing.
