Hey y'all! Thanks for the replies. I did drill a small hole in the gas cap through the handle per PRO advice after my first stall... sorry I forgot to mention that. I did the valve adjustments cold. BTW my scoot is a Lintex HT150T-18 more specifically. I am about to take it for a spin back home from my shop. Wish me luck.

Hey now! Noob here! I recently traded a used bicycle for a 2008 Rhon 50. I caught the bug and recently ordered a Rykota from Power Ride Outlet and instead received a 2011 Lintex HT-150 identical copy. I've been slowly breaking it in, trying to run it now faster than 25mph for the first 300 mi. Yes, I have had to push this beast a few times. I've only got 50 miles on the odometer since I have had it over the last few weeks, due to working all the time. I have been in the bicycle industry for 20 years, operating my own shop for the last 15. So with an abundance of tools, workspaces, an working mechanical knowledge, I thought I would jump in to Scoots or, sometimes in my case "Pushes". I Googled all I can regarding issues and maintenance, You Tube is abundant of some helpful and not so helpful videos, lurked on Sccoter forums, joined this forum, and knocked the dust of my library card and checked out some Haynes Chinese Scooter repair books which are the best at laying it all out. I think I am going to buy the most recently published version. I received my scooter, % fully assembled, with free shipping. PRO did the PDI and included a free oil change. It died on me half way home on the first ride, right after the moment I started to grin ear to ear. Pushed it home, and ran it the next day. It ran fine for a couple of short trips and then it wouldn't start again. I ran it a few days later and made it to work. Awesome! But it died on me again on the way home by the Fed Ex Forum as a Memphis Grizzlies game was letting out tens of thousands of fans. Oh the humiliation. I have since gapped the plug to .6mm and checked and adjusted the valve clearance on intake and exhaust to .12mm per the manual. Started the scoot right up, let it warm and wait for the enriched to cut off and make my idle adjustment. I then took it on another ride for about 20 or so minutes in stop and go traffic. It purred like a kitten and ran well. I then parked it for a few minutes to check the restart. It started right up. I took it for a spin and it quickly just bogged down, I gave it some throttle and it cut out. That was a few days ago. I have since reset the valves to .12mm again as they seemed a bit tight. I'm gonna take it for another spin today. Any suggestions?
