The specs of the 200 engine are very close to one of the currently available SYM engines.

Rumor mill says Genuine dealers (distributor of Buddy, Stella, etc) will carry Scomadi scoots some time in 2018. Scomadis resemble a classic Lambretta. The site says they are made in the "Far East", but I don't know if that means mainland China or Taiwan. _Scomadi currently makes a 50 and a 200. They are working on a 400 model. _The 200 has a water cooled, 4 valve, EFI, 180cc engine, so I look forward to seeing that one. From the article: “The scooters are not currently available in the United States, however, Scomadi says that they are currently working with an unnamed US importer on US DOT/EPA certification to enable them to make the range available.” www.scooterfile.com/sf-feature/scomadi-usa-2018/

Sorry about taking off on a tangent but I don't get to talk to people from Ga very often. - Dragonsparks - I hope you have heard of the Nancy Hanks passenger train to Atlanta. When I was a kid, I rode it from Griffin to "big" Rich's in Atlanta for Christmas shopping. The Nancy Hanks dropped you at Union Station in the morning and picked us up before dark.

I grew up in Senoia, hour SW of Atlanta. Showing my age, but I was able to see Hank Aaron hit a lot of home runs. I rode the Pink Pig at Rich's and a lot more rides at Fun Town on Stewart Avenue. (Ask your grandparents what Im talking about). -After I joined the Marines I moved a lot and never lived in Ga again very long. -I saw a UGA hauler going down i-10, east of Houston on Christmas Eve, on its way to the Rose Bowl. It was an eighteen wheeler with a University of Georgia Football wrap on the trailer. It must have been hauling the football equipment to LA. Quite a coincidence.

Santa Claus. Piloting a helicopter made me nervous. Piloting a sleigh is much harder.

I have taken care of chinchillas, but have no experience with other rodents.

"Besides, remember some years ago, Richard Gere and other thrill-seeking Hollywood heartthrobs engaged GERBILS in some REALLY questionable (OK, downright SICK) acts"
Where is PETA when we need them?

I saw the newest Star Wars movie, The Last Jedi. It was a good movie, but not great, IMHO. It had a couple of actors from the 1977 movie and a couple of the droids. The Star Wars faithful will love it.

Good reminder. You want those tire pressures right when you make the quick swerve to avoid an accident.

I have had good luck with Harley riders while riding my scoot, but I know there are plenty of jerks out there on all makes of bikes. I don't visit biker bars on my scooter or other places that are traditionally Harley riders "turf". I stick to my suburban pubs and cafes.

Courting the millenials is not easy. I think the Street 750 was a step in the right direction, but the price seemed to be too high to be competitive. Scooter manufacturing companies are not doing very well either these days.

Ivan was declared "The Terrible" by his own people, rather than his enemies. That's macho enough for me.
