Saw "Star Wars - Rise of Skywalker" yesterday at the theatre. The movie WAS well done, but I was bored. Same plot done a different way, IMHO. -The Star Wars series began when I was in high school. I never collected Stars Wars novelties, but I enjoyed those movies for a few decades. Maybe it's just me.

We saw Knives Out last week, starring Daniel Craig and Jaimie Lee Curtiss, among other recognizable actors. Craig played sort of an "Andy Griffith" type of investigator, and pulled it off well. The murder plot was intricate and unpredictable. It was one of the mildest R rated movies I have seen. No two wheelers in the film, but one of the characters drove a 1972 BMW 3.O CSL coupe. It's a really good movie.

The engine in my motorized bicycle was skipping, so I replaced the plug wire with a silicone wire from my Ford Escort. Looked stupid, because the Escort wire did not have an elbow in it, but it worked great. It was a 49cc 2 stroke.

Saw Harriet on the big screen. It's one thing for a lady to be brave enough to escape slavery by herself. It's quite another for a her, after experiencing freedom, to return to the South several times to lead others out of slavery. See it if you get a chance.

Saw Jojo Rabbit. It is a satirical story of a 10 year old German boy growing up during WWII. His imaginary friend is Adolf Hitler. This was not a boring movie and it had some funny scenes. It's a good way to spend a bad weather afternoon. I'd wait for netflix or rental.

No pics from my scoot ride this week, but we snapped a few at the Lonestar motorcycle rally on Galveston Island. Anybody know the html code to rotate an image? My attempt didn't work. [.rotateimg180]http://www.chinariders.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=19181&d=1572821909[/img]

Saw the Maleficent sequel. Slow, starter, but a good movie. Suitable for kids, but still an interesting movie about manipulating people.

Those vintage Yamaha XS twins are really popular (ie, expensive) in these parts. I blame Kenny Roberts for that. The old KZ twins are cheap, but still well made. The vintage Honda twins are expensive around here too.

The 2020 W800 msrp is $9200. Scrambler will be priced around that. - I'm better off finding an older KZ440 to 650 twin and giving it a scrambler treatment myself (except the high exhaust - I can't weld). I can't remember if the 650s were shaft drive or not.

We'll see how they price it. I like the "no passengers" layout with the short seat and lack of heat shields on the mufflers. I expect that to change on the production models.
