Finally went for a spin after the relatives were gone. I wish they had taken more of the leftovers with them.
It was pretty foggy still, so we rode on the beach and avoided the highway. Cold front is coming this afternoon to clear the skies.

I prefer classic engines too, but Norton must use a high tech, water cooled mill to justify that crazy high price. The riders won't pay the big bucks unless they are really fast. They make the Husky 701 Vitpilen look like a bargain bike.

The rain was fairly light, so fortunately, we weren't soaked. It still stung when it hit my arms and legs.

The wife and I absconded for a ride today. Rain cut the ride short. We tucked behind our windshields so that we wouldn't get too wet.

As oldchopperguy said, Norton is known for making big, fast twins. Now Norton plans to sell a nice classic 650cc scrambler. Its looks great, but you could buy a pair of Yami MT 700s for the price of one Norton scrambler. newatlas.com/norton-atlas-650-ranger-nomad/57243/ |
