Can someone delete this post? Clearly I am not part of this group's clique. Great forum.

Hi folks, sorry I haven't posted in a while. Here's my latest issue. I swapped my speedometer assembly for one that reads in mph instead of kph. This new one has the smaller fuel gauge located between the speedo and tach, and it doesn't appear to be working at all. The old speedo had the large fuel gauge on the right side of the pod. Do I need a different sending unit now with this new one? By the way, the old fuel gauge will still work if I attach the plug to it. Second, I now have a tachometer where I didn't have one before, and I don't see any wiring from the harness to connect to it. There's a small black plastic cylinder that looks sorta like an old 35 mm film box with a plug going to it, not sure what it does. It attaches to the loop at the top of the speedo. Any thoughts on how to get the tach working? There are 3 wires coming from it. Last, I have several indicator lights in the dash that are burned out. One of them is the left turn signal indicator, Where can I get replacement dash backlights? Thanks for your help, guys. I would be lost without this forum.
Regards,
Tim Dixon

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I found an illustration online that shows it is a fresh air intake for a "pair" type system. So I'll leave it unplugged and lower my idle a tad. Thanks again.

Hey Gang, I've got a fairly large hose with an elbow connector on the end of it hanging down under my scoot. Does anyone know what this is or where it goes? It is pulling pretty good vacuum. I've plugged it with a bolt for now til I figure out what it is. My scoot idles really fast when it's unplugged, and slower when I plug it with a bolt. I'd appreciate any suggestions. I've looked til I'm blue in the face for a place it's supposed to connect to, but no joy. Ride safe, everyone... ... Tim 2011 Zhenhua ZH-ZG 150 Attachments:

Hey, RideCheap, that's the same pic that I ordered my scoot from! Exactly. But I can't get anywhere near 68 mph with my lard butt on it.

Looking forward to learning all I can about scooters in general and mine in particular (2011 Zhenhua Horizon 150). After I get a little knowledge, I'll for sure try to help other newbies. Greetings, Everyone!
