YEAH!!!!! Motofino to the rescue.... To answer my own questions should there be a next guy to this thread... The missing bolt is called a flange drain bolt. Yes there should be a gasket, didn't catch the name of the gasket, but it would be part #11 in the following diagram along with the bolt being #10. ep.yimg.com/ca/I/yhst-15150601893580_2247_4174582I've ordered both and when they arrive I will put the damn bolt to a threading guage and finish answering my original question. And I see now millsc covered that bolt with his first link, but where's my gasket?! j/k (Honestly, when I saw that pic, and how little it was I thought it was the oil plug to a 49cc or something. I would have thought that this missing bolt was at least 2 inches in length. (It's a deep boring, apparently unnecessarily done.) <~~~~ VEry unlike the Chinese.

Are you saying it's the same threading and width as the oil plug? All though it was acting like one without being in, it's not the oil plug bolt. That's on the very bottom. because of the width of the head to oil plug, there wouldn't be a possibility of attempting to put it in that whole to check the threading without removing the center stand and the belt cover casing. I can't remove any other bolts, for there are none on that side of the engine. of the approx same size. All the others are a much smaller head and go to the belt cover. I've also tried one of the swingarm bolts, but it was to small too.

The long version: Woke up almost 2 hours late for work, skipped the normal morning routine, hopped on the bike half naked, ignored all traffic laws, and was swiftly rewarded with a train parked on the tracks, blocking the road. 1/4 mile from work. killed the engine as I don't have an exhaust system, and the noise irritates me if I'm idling for long periods of time. After about 15 minutes I decided I could have driven around the train by now. So I started it up, and proceeded to take the 3 mile trip around the train. Made it about 500 ft, bike died. This actually happens to me a lot, as My gas gauge hasn't worked for a few years. But it wasn't a no gas kinda death, sounded more like loss of compression to me, engine was speeding up but with no performance. And it'd only restart if applying throttle too. So I pushed it (literally) around the train, since I was on foot at least I didn't have to stick to the roads this time. Quick lookover on the engine, noticed a lot of oil over one side of my center stand. Checked the oil, notta. Sent a co-worker to the store for some oil so I could attempt a ride home later in the day. After work made a funnel started pouring it in. As soon as the oil went in, it poured out on the other side. Just as fast. So pushed the bike the entire way home. Fracking Steep hills and all. Fairly certain I lost 1/2 of the 20#s I've added in the past year. Anyways today is a newday with sunlight, I just gave my bike a better inspection. and found the source of the oil leak. The short version. Reference the attached pictures, puh puh please. I need to know the threading and size, so I can go to the hardware store and attempt to replace this bolt. Also mechanically inclined people, I have a secondary question that well I honestly was just gonna try it. from what I can tell this bolt doesn't go all the way through, nor does it seem to be holding on a gasket. So I'm hoping replacing the screw would be enough. But if anyone knows for sure, Should I be ordering a gasket right now, and if so which one. It's a 150cc longcase, replacement engine actaully with less than 500 miles on it. I'm sending an email off to the ebay store, to see if they can help, but it's fleabay they have their positive feedback so even getting a response is doubtful. Attachments:

probably a ground wire. But I'm in no way an expert with these bikes. Usually green does mean ground in electrical circles. Try it out with a multimeter.

Thank you guys. I placed it behind one of the screws that keep that large black plastic casing on the engine. (between metal engine and plastic case). Took like thirty kicks to get enough gas through the lines, to start her. But when she did, all was well. Aside from the dead battery.

It's a 2008 Chinese knockoff, think the title says something like XianXang Motorcycle City. Killed the original engine, due to a lack of responsibility with checking/changing my oil. I purchased a replacement off fleabay. Only thing I have left before I can test fire her, is this stupid wire left. I think it's the engine ground wire. I know I haven't attached one to the new engine. My problem is I had to remove the old engine to measure it's specs, before I could even begin the process of purchasing a replacement. That was almost a month ago. I'm lucky if I can remember what I had for breakfast yesterday. The video tutorial I followed for the removal of the old engine, is showing what I think is a starter, and some kind of hydraulic line. (Step 5, about 30 seconds into the video ) I can't seem to locate this same screw on the replacement engine, nor the old one. I must have stumbled upon the wire, for the removal. So, I guess my question(s) are.... 1. Is this the engine ground wire, or should the solenoid be grounded to the frame? (It's the perfect length, and I'm assuming I taped it the frame there for a reason) 2. Does it really matter where I attach it? Assuming I get it to some kind of metal on the engine. (I'm going on the assumption the new engine, doesn't have a screw hole for it, considering there were some minor differences. I.E. no hole for the carb drain hose to mount to. No second vaccum line/peg on the intake manifold. No peg from the valve cover to attach what I think was a charcoal/EGR cannister.)
