Sorry for the pain, guys! My exhaust is toast, and I have looked at new ones online (eBay, etc) that LOOK the same, but was hesitant to 'pull the trigger' their listed measurements are in mm and don't quite jive with what I have for stock. Sean.. post updates on what mod you can do to get it to fit. What a crapshow.

I had the EXACT same thing happen to me. Payneib, your suggestion will help a LOT of folks out. After I had to call around for a buddy to get me home, I found the OEM Chinese plug boot was toast and wouldn't / couldn't make any meaningful connection to the plug! When I looked down into the engine area (without doing anything) I could see sparks arcing all over. Don't just change out the plug, but the boot too!!

Need some new tires and found a decent deal on Motorcyclesuperstore.com. They offer to ship them to a 'preferred installer' who will put them on for whatever the shop may charge (I don't have the set-up to put my own tires on and balance them, etc.). Question....has anyone done this before and have good luck at the local shop? I guess I could just call the local shop they list as a preferred installer, but curious if anyone has done it and had success with a usually 'we won't touch a Chinese scooter' attitude.
