turned 79 in june, started riding when the army gave me one of their tanks on two wheels(harley). I was 18yrs then. Been riding off and on since. now ride a kymcodowntown 300

I just bought a kymco downtown 300i. A 2012 leftover. The dealer knocked off $1000.oo list. You might want to take a look at one. I like it so far, just under 300 mi so far. Has plenty of pwr and handels nice. 68 mpg on 1st tank. Good luck with whatever you get.

I guess you could use a dremel but put in on slow rpms, you dont want to get the shield hot or it will distort the shieldand then you are done. Its then a new shield

Hi, I done the same thing. I got a buffer wheel fro harbor freight for my grinding wheel but u must use the white stick, dont use the gray or red, it has abrasives in it. go lightly, dot get the shield hot. It wont take the scratch ot but will take out the whit scuff ot. On mine the scratch is there but not noticable enough to bother you. Mine worked out fine.
