Woowilly,

Based on your comment, I attempted to find a cable lever. I do not see one, although the distance from where the key is used and the latch itself suggests there must be one. I may need to remove some skin to get to it. But yours is the best idea I've gotten yet.

Any other ideas before I start stripping plastic?

Folks,

I cannot open my seat latch. The last I had it open was last fall when I winterized. Now, it just will not pop. The key is likely to break off if I force it any more.

I've tried poking at it through the seem, and have had no luck. I had someone suggest trying to take the front of the seat apart, but I could not do that.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
