Good Point. I wont need it faster in like 4 months. But right now it would be nice. I keep feeling like I'm going to die on my way to work and school. Haha.

Thanks! I was planning on getting the multi roller kit from that site too. Can't find another place that sells multiples.

Scaled ape isn't a metaphor I'm familiar with. As of right now I'm just doing the 80cc kit, I probably will buy a UNI and exhaust, just because I want one. With the 80cc (72cc) a better air system and an exhaust will the main jet be good?

She will run strong and fast and won't blow up right away. Thats always nice, lol. Thank you for all of your input. I'm keeping all of this in mind. Definitely wont include the CDI and coil on my list anymore, not until much later anyway. Will I be able to hit 45 on hills with the 80cc? Me and all of my stuff I transport around (text books, blech) weighs about 170 pounds. So basically the main thing I need is just the 80cc BBK and then to upjet my carb? And open up my airfilter? I really just want a different muffler for louder sound. Lol.

I don't know if it makes it run better, but I don't trust the spark plug it came with. Definitely putting a better one in it.

Thanks. I'll look for cheap tachs or see if my uncle has one layin around (he's a harley mechanic). Lucky for me my uncle said he'd teach me to install anything I needed for free. So now I just need to decide what I want to buy. Adding roller weights to my list.
Should I go with the 80cc or 100cc bbk?
And does anyone know if the air filter scrappydog sells is any good? Or should I just get a uni from somewhere else.

Yeah I'll definitely post a picture when I can upload it off my phone later. It does have some cosmetic damage from where the previous took it down.

I just bought a Peace Renegade 50 off a friend with the intention of doing some upgrades, customizing it a bit ect. After a couple weeks of reading I think I know what I want to do, but I have some questions about what would be the best order to do things in.
So far I am thinking: New cdi and coil New exhaust New air intake system New carb (what size should I upgrade too) BBK (80cc or 100cc)
What order should I do the upgrades in?
I'm not sure what size BBK to go with. For where I live right now it would be nice to hit 45 on hills (not really steep, but steep enough), but when I move to college in August I'll be in a city where 35 would probably suit me fine most days. Originally I saw the 80cc BBK on scrappy dog. I was adding it to my shopping list, but then I saw the 100cc BBK on ebay that comes with the new exhaust and everything too. It's a better deal but I've read about people have problems when they go past the 80cc (or 72cc) BBK. I'm not 100% sure if I really need the 100cc. That's why I am asking questions!
Also I don't have an abundance of mechanical skills. Most of what I know is just computer mechanics. (I build some fine computers). Is there anything that is fairly difficult to install that maybe I shouldn't attempt myself, or is it all okay as long as you pay attention to what you are doing and meticulously check yourself. Don't be an idiot, ect.
I already put in a NKG spark plug, going to do a better belt sometime soon.
Thanks in advance.

Hello, I've been lurking on scootdawg and here for quite some time now. I finally decided to join so I could ask some questions, and help others too as I learn from experience.
Recently purchased a Peace 50 off a friend (works fine, he just wants a real motorcycle). I've been looking for something I could buy cheap and upgrade and sort of make my own, if you will. I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions through this process. Thanks to any future helpful people.
