I did try to adjust the idle screw, but no matter where I set it, nothing changes. As far as a fuel mix, I couldn't find any sort of adjustment on the new or old carb. I was sure if you need to pull it apart and turn jets in or out for adjustment or not. I'm just beginning to get into this issue, so I haven't done a lot of tinkering. I will figure out how to adjust valves and go from there. Any other idea's or info would be great. I'll try and be timely with the work, but I currently have an old ninja torn apart that I'm trying to get back together too, so it might be hit or miss to work on the scooter. Thanks again!

hello all, i'm new to scooters and being driven nuts. i've had motorcycles and dirt bikes and such and consider myself very mechanically inclined, but this has me stumped. i bought my wife a 2011 juliet 50cc so she could start the 2 wheel training and it just will not idle. i rode it up and down the road a few times and it ran great, just shuts off when you stop. it sat for about a year before i bought it and i assumed the carb was messed up. took it off, cleaned it well, no change. bought a brand new carb from the dealer, put it on and now not only will it not idle, but it's hard starting and doesn't rev easily. i've never seen a new carb actually make something run worse. any insight anybody might have would be great. maybe it has a vaccum leak? i just don't know. thanks in advance!
