i might have to switch to fuel injected scooter.... simply pilot jet is prone to get clogged

sorry for changing the post. i thought the rain has damaged my cdi or something. but i guess not. i think it is the pilot jet being clogged, as i see the pilot jet, i can barely see through the hole, i am soaking the jet with injector cleaner and see if the problem will dissapear.

my scooter has 80cc bbk with free flow air filter. what size pilot jet should i use? also what size stock pilot jet size usually?

I don't think the air filter is wet. I have been using 110 main jet for a week now and it served me well.

it is stock 50cc carburetor. I didn't change the pilot jet.

I got 80cc bbk and free flow air filter with 110 main jet. it idles smoothly at around 1,500 rpm...

engine keeps dying at 1/4 throttle... Idles fine. but when I give 1/4 throttle it dies like if I hit engine turn off switch. without bogging. engine doesn't die if I give 1/2 or full throttle, but engine dies when I give only 1/4 throttle.

isnt the rubber thingy for fan cover do not melt away? would fan cover melt without it?

i have just installed new hoca bbk on my 50cc and the rubber goes around the head between the fan cover doesnt fit exactly. because the hoca head shape is not identical to stock head. and putting the rubber thing gets really annoying . i wonder if i can just take out the rubber thing and not use it. would fan cover melt? or does anyone have better idea?

what are some good head gasket material? my valve head gasket has gotten flat and is leaking oil. I would like to know what kind of gasket material I should buy. thanks.
