my scooter has 80cc bbk with free flow air filter.
what size pilot jet should i use?
also what size stock pilot jet size usually?

From what I've heard stock is 35 and those that upgrade do a 38

I use a 38 pilot jet and have had to use one with a free flow filter, but every engine is different. I suggest you try the extra long 35 jet offered by Absolutely Scooters absolutelyscooterparts.net/catalog/idle-p-366.html It advertises lengthiness allowing for easier starting. If that doesn't work then you could try the 38, but that's normally just for people who bump their ccs up a lot. 35 is stock for 150cc engines, just as an example. |
