Why didn't I select the 150, simple...I won the 50. So...can't beat free.
Also, on the research end, it seems a pretty simple swap, and at a cost of $250 for a complete 150 setup with all necessities, cheaper than the option of buying a 150 over buying a 50. Where I'm at, a 50 requires nothing but a valid DL to have on the road, but I was going to go ahead and tag/license/insure on conversion to the 150.
And so we are clear, no DUIs, no problems with my license, just using the scoot as a vastly superior choice when it comes to fuel economy given the unseasonable weather.
And don't have a MC endorsement yet, but once the 150 swap is done, I can always get one.

Hi all, I just got myself a new Tao Tao cruiser 50, and was looking at swapping the motor out for a 150. Has anyone done this, or might be able to point me in the right direction?
