I have a 2007 bms tbx 260 scooter. It is carbureted. Brand ne battery and spark plug. It will crank and crank but won't start
any advise

Its a new battery but the person I bought it from but its a WalMart lawn and harden battery. Wet cell. I think I need to add some more distilled water to it. But would rather just buy a new one. I just don't know what type of battery to get. Wet cell...sealed. How ever many amps or if there is a certain battery model number that I can search for

let me add more info. i was on my phone. when i go to turn on bike. it tries once then makes a humming sound. i used a multimeter to check voltage. alone. 12.2VDC. when i go to crank it drops strait down to 7.6VDC. one. is it my battery that just went bad, or is there a problem with the scooter that caused this issue.?any ideas. also for wheni buy a new battery. all i want to know is. how many amp hours should i get. im finding 12VDC at 6,8,9, and 12AH.

Thanks for the help. I found that my right break switch went bad and also found along the process the my left brake switch was completely trashed. Also that my kill switch was being to go bad haha. And I also needed a new spark plug. Once my part comes in I will be goo to thanks

push button start will not work. found that green wire to push button as ground. yellow red wire from push button to solenoid operates starter with positive jumper. dont understand why negative wire on push button would operate yellow red wire when button depressed. bike will not start. any help please?

With the during prob I have cleaned the carb but idk cause the motor runs away if not set right.

I just by pass the solenoid by using a wire to to complete the current.

I have a 2008 vog 260 scooter. Paid 640 for it. But needs some work. Right now here's a list of faults. Won't start ( believe the starter relay went bad) when I turn it on the lights come on but when I hit the the brakes...no tail lights. Bulbs are good. Blinker, head and tail light work tho. Also I believe the switch on the right switch assembly is for parking lights but no matter where the switch is set, nothing happens. No lights turn on or off. Nada. And last. When running. It works and runs fine for about 30 min but after that. When I let off throttle and brake. The engine dies. Any help to any of these above problems would be great. Thanks
