I'll definitely try to look for the little ground wire, as well as put everything back together including connecting the lights. Will update, thanks again!

Hi All.
I'm not too handy but my brother in law helped me replace both the stator (I had bought a new one a while back), and the starter motor. Well, he took out the old starter motor, then he had to go back to California.
I replaced the starter motor, and reconnected the wire but it's still not starting. Doesn't even click or turn over. I haven't had a chance to put back the seat or the plastic cover that goes around the seat (along with the connectors attached to that plastic, but I'm assuming that's for the brake lights and not critical to it starting).
The light comes on, so the instrument panel is getting battery power.
Not sure what to check next. Any advice would be appreciated.
