Drill a hole in the broken bolt shaft,,,probably wouldn't hurt to soak the shaft are with penatrating oil side and out over nite ,,,the use an easy out to extract the shaft,,,4-5 piece kits are sold at any auto parts store,,,very inexpensive,,,buy a grade 8 minimum replacement bolt,,,don't cheap out here,,,get a quality bolt,,,it'll save you $ in the long run

(Kat My mom was a doctor and my dad built racing cars,,,both were huge collectors and there was quite a bit of disposable income,,,hence the fairly large collections of antiquities and relics,,,I basically grew up in a museum)

Yes pops had 4 or 5 of them and literally dozens of discs,,,with the lambs wool sleeves,,,cylinder record players ,,clay records 6 or 7 gramophones,,p,and Swiss cylinder players and 30 or so cylinders,,,Christmas time was very special in our house

music Christmas (yes, our two usual stations flipped last Fri. Sigh. I really wish they'd wait 'til Thanksgiving. And that they would get more songs--I'm already tired of hearing the same songs every morning for the hour my alarm plays.) (and by "same songs" I don't mean different versions by different artists. I mean the SAME song by the same performer. They both have almost the exact same playlist, with maybe 3-dozen songs based on how often they repeat. SIGH!) Christmas cheer Yea it's a drag,,,when my pop was alive he would play his ragina metal disc player,,,he had all the Christmas discs known to man so I'd retreat to the ol homestead for a recharge of the mental batteries |
