battery is reading 12.98V. same at the solenoid and fuse. yeah, i jumped the solenoid and it cranked right up. still, no instruments work, brake lights etc. i'm leaning towards the ignition switch also.

Hello. New to the scooter world. buddy has a Roma 150. won't start with the starter button. kick starts fine. here is where it gets fun...engine running, none of the gauges work. now if i jump across the terminals on the solenoid it will start but again none of the gauges work. battery fully charged too. i'm thinking ignition switch is shorted out. all was fine till it got left out in the rain. any other ideas? it's a new machine so i think the solenoid is ok.
