Ok people I have something strange going on. I have had this bbk for a month and doing great, then I noticed it leaking gas out the breather box, So no big deal, I cleaned the carb. Then I changed the carb and I know its not the carb that's doing this. I did change out a bad stator with a used one that I know was good or use to be. I have spark and all, so could it be a cdi or stator making it seem like its a carb problem? this is driving me up the wall.

VIP GY6 QMB139 I had installed 100cc BBk, everything went well for 2 weeks, ran fine and then I started hearing a popping noise like exhaust . come to find out it was a head gasket blown . So I re did the gaskets and checked the rings all was fine. so I put back together and it runs great . but now its started the same popping noise after 3 days like the head gasket blown again but only at over half throttle I get the popping noise . it wont crank with the elect. start but will crank fine with kick start, when hot it will crank with electric start. could it having a 2 stroke exhaust on the 4t cause a back pressure problem with that.i have adjusted valves multi times and same results I cant seem to wrap my head around it. Any and all help would be a plus. thanks everyone.

I took a ride to the store today and on the way back I got ten in gas in a jug. I sat the jug in center of my feet and with the extra weight on the way back I had a lose of power, when I got home I cut it off and it will not crank back. I let it cool and the next day it cranked right up but as it warms it cuts off and wont start back until it sits for a good while. I went to put a new variator on and noticed that I could spin the motor over very easy just by turning with my hand. So now I took the head an jug off to look everything over and rings look fine, head and valves / seats and all look good. It was a new kit that I have been running for two weeks and I had just got everything dialed in and it was running great. like I said, when cold it still cranks up and idles fine until it warms about 5mins. Never had this problem b4. Does anyone know what is going on and can point me in the right direction . (139Qmb 100cc bbk, A9 cam/64mm rocker arms with valves at .003 intake .004 exhaust , 7g rollers, 1500 contra spring, main jet eighty, performance coil and cdi box )

Ok I open up the carb. cause I found some jets I had put up. They are out of just old carbs I had. I put one in and it started the hiccup thing at 30 to 35 mph. so I put different jet and it started at 40 to 45 mph the jets I have are not numbered, there blank so I ordered a main jet set. the I had in it would start hiccup at 35 to 40 mph so I am thinking I need a jet. when I find the right jet will I need to match it also with a idle jet as well? how will I know witch idle jet to match with? my idle is bad. It wanders all over the place, hard to start as well. I am thinking it may be my starter that is 50cc small and has not got the torque. I can kick it and it will crank right up. maybe the valves still need adjusting more. on the bbk what would be the best place to start on the adjustment, as of now my intake is 003 and ex is 004.

New here. I have a 50cc Beta that I upgraded to 100cc when I start it will idle and jump from low to middle rev. It gets from 0-30 rather fast. when I get up to 40mph it starts to cut out like a hiccup or bogging every 25 to 30 ft. hesitations. I have 9g rollers, stock carb with jet, performance coil and racing cdi box to get rig of the rev limit thing . all else is stock. I have my intake valve set at .003 and exhaust at .004 I checked all vacuum lines, gas lines, intake boot, Changed gas filter, The gas is good not bad, no water in it carb air/fuel screw is at 2 1/2 turns, new plug. Not sure what to do next. I do have a performance Variator with 6g rollers and rear bell with 2000rpm torque spring on its way. This scooter thing is new to me, only been at it for 6 months and learn something new every day.. So please people teach me What is wrong with this thing.
