Ok I'll give it a try turning it over, I believe the new valves are 64 while the old ones were 69

Is there any performance or reliability difference between 64 mm and 69mm valves? Or just different design? Just don't wanna go backwards in performance with anything

You want to run the diesel cause it has a lot more additives and it being thicker helps with air cooled engines

Where is a good place to order the rockers from? Scrappys doesn't seem to sell it on their site. I wish they had told me about this issue when I ordered from them.

When I talked to them on Friday they said customs had the order and it would be 1-2 weeks.

So sounds like stock I had 69mm valves and now this new head is 64mm valves, cause when I just visually look at them from the side the stock head has the valve springs sticking out of it a lot more than the new head. Does this sound like 64 vs 69 valve problem?

Could you explain more what you mean by hiked up? I'm just confused because as its installed I can put the rocker on the valve, it's just when it rolls back in picks up maybe .25-.5 an inch almost, looks like if the engine could run like this it would have horrible tapping from the rockers getting thrown back And forth

To be honest I'm not sure, when I ordered I did it over the phone and said I wanted the big valve head for my engine. Is there a defining mark or something I could look at to tell?

They are currently moving freely, just not enough to move the valve, I mean I can use my hand and easily flick them back and forth. I just mean I'm not sure taking it off will help cause its not really jammed, just like with the valve stem is short or the rocker arm isn't deep enough

Im not sure I understand what you mean. The rockers when not being engages by the cam lobes can "rock" freely, but when the lobes are pushing the arms they only just make contact with the top of the valve. Im thinking the rocker arms are too short.

Nope not jammed at all, just seems like the gap is huge and if I rotate the engine by hand it does not move the valves at all. Valves are adjusted at .0025 and .004(exhaust)
