I'm just going to buy a new carburetor and while I'm at it I need a new intake manifold. As stated earlier my scoot is a 2014 Cy150 Paladin 150cc. Im trying to find out what exact carburetor to buy. I'm buying off amazon or a website, no ebay. I have a new air box that I didn't put on yet and it says it's 43mm. I bought it thinking it was compatible but now when I go to different sites one says the carb's size needs to be 37mm where you put the air box to the rear of the carb and ano th her says 43mm. Everything is pretty much the same regarding the intake manifold being 24mm. I've looked at the manuals and it doesn't have the sizes. In an above comment there's a link to a deni(deni?) carb but it doesn't have measurements. That carb is expensive compared to amazon that sells them for around $25-50. I don't have calipers to measure myself but could buy some if they aren't too expensive.
Any idea what exact measurement I need to use 37mm or 43mm for the carb? I've looked everywhere with not much luck. Sorry to be a nuisance

Unfortunately it didn't work. I believe the carburetor is bad. Its like the choke is stuck on. Gas leaks out of that little valve, the exhaust manifold and actually at the bottom of the carb. Im assuming the float needle is the thing u can move up and down with your fingers thru the exhaust manifold. I took the top off the carb and a spring, needle looking thing with a plastic thing (float) & a rubber seal on top. It was all clean as a whistle. And the float moves fine. It absolutely gushes gas out of every place gas could possibly come out. It looks like there might be a seal under the carb that is leaking too. I'm guessing I'll just buy a new carb, lines and try to figure it out or take it to a repairman. Its weird, when on the stand and I get it running if u run it fast it doesn't leak but as soon as I let off the throttle it leaks like crazy. Its just aggravating bc I have bad back problems and can only work on it for short amounts of time.

Sorry about the way I had to post. I'm using a phone as my only option. Would replacing the carburetor fix everything? Or does it seem like a bad carb issue. I just downloaded the owners manual from herè, maybe it has diagram

I left my scooter parked at a business (indoors) for 45 days and it no longer runs after I picked it up. It ran the best ever when I parked it and I know that nobody rode it either. I had just installed a new belt, variator and rollers plus I have a new air box which I haven't installed yet. It seems like there is a gas line issue. I thought it wasn't getting enough gas but now it seems its getting too much gas? There are 2 hoses that are unhooked and 2 nipples that have no hoses hooked to them. The scooter runs without the hoses hooked up but won't run if they are hooked up. The nipple on the exhaust pipe (left) side spews gas when you get it running. The loose hose on the right side runs to the gas tank beside the hose that has the fuel filter on it. The loose hose on the left side connects to what looks like the top of the engine. There is a 3rd hose that connects to the top of the rear end of the cvt housing and it broke awhile ago and its possible that it connected to the left side hose that I'm unsure where it goes other than the end that's still connected which runs to the top of what looks like the top of the engine. I've looked at other diagrams/pics and they don't look like mine. Another thing I noticed is that if I take a hose off a nipple that I know has been used the nipple is gold/copper colored but these 2 nipples that aren't connected are silver. I'm not sure if that means anything or not. Just \tying to be complete with the details. Any help would be appreciated. I don't see any way to post pics but I'll figure it out quickly.
Hope this link to youtube works as its my scooter showing the issue

Problem solved. The rollers in the variator were out of their grooves. Every single one of them. I managed to get the variator off with a large set of channel locks and a socket break bar with a pipe fitted over it for extra leverage. It used a 17mm socket. I put all the rollers back in place and some were damaged (had sides worn flat) but i tried it anyway just to see if it would work and it did. Now all I have to do is order a new variator and the scoot will run like new.
thanks to everyone who tried to help. Here is a video of the variator and clutch spinning after i temporarily fixed it. It even shows my wife riding it. I rode it a few miles and it ran like a champ.

The end of the video I was trying to show those roller looking things on the back of the variator but couldn't get a good View. The don't seem to be aligned in any order. Some will flip around with your finger.

Sorry its been awhile but I finally got around to making a video. I took the belt off a few days before making this video so hopefully you can still get an idea of what may be wrong. If not I can put the belt on and make another video.

When its on its stand with the back tire raised. The outer part of the clutch doesn't spin. I kinda overreacted when I posted that BC I thought the belt was spinning on an entire clutch that wasn't spinning. Like the whole thing was stuck. Looking at it closer the inner part does spin with the belt. I've watched that GIF type graphic that shows how its supposed to move outward at higher rpms and it is moving outward but just isn't going into low gear. When I started it on the stand and revved it everything spins but as soon as I take it off the stand and the tire hits the ground that outer part of the clutch quits spinning. I think some videos called it the outer bell. The part u push in to get the belt off/on. I will get a video of it and upload to YouTube so I can share it. I'm just new to this stuff and probably not explaining it great and have been in a financial bind lately due to my wife having a bad medical issue leaving her unable to walk or work. I truly Appreciate the help

I just ran it without the cvt cover and the clutch bell isn't spinning with the back tire. When I spin it with my hands it spins but when the bike is operating it there is no spinning.

That's what I was hoping. I will clean it out and see if it helps. It took a week for Napa to even get the belt.

Sorry if theirs a tutorial on this. I've looked at YouTube, some articles but I'm stuck using a windows phone so half the sites, videos, search functions don't work. Also the scooter sort of sounds like a truck with a broken muffler now. Engine runs fine. Can be hard to start if not started in several days but carb cleaner gets it to start. It's a 2014 also.
