Hey im not new at all to the scooter world. Ive have 4 my last was a taotao thunder which i traded for a car that got me into trouble... Looking to buy a used or maybe new scoot!!! My budget is anywhere from 300 to 450$... Had a pawn shop try to sell me a jazzie 50cc with 3000km for 450... I told him to keep it reason being the last owner rigged a radio and speakers that were rusty.... Please help me get a scooter!! Need transportation to work!! Whats the bad signs of a used scoot? Anybody have one for sale in nc or know of any good deals??? Thank you very much!

I cant fix it myself noooo wayyy. Have no idea or tools.. Its burning about 1/3 of the dipstick in oil.. Smokes at warm up often.. Has a loud clicking at idle.. And a rebuild would fix all this... Just cant do it it would be in parts on my floor...

Have a taotao thunder 139 qmp.. And gonna get rebuild kit off ebay but cant find anybody to rebuild in winston salem nc.... Called everybody!!! Somebody give me the right link for the rebuild kit on ebay or amazon... Cheapest... And help me research somewhere in my area to get it rebuilt... Thank yall!! I dont know if its the secret 60cc or what ever....

3600km bought it used with 2200km. Just change the fluids often and plug every now and then but runs great

Warm up idle it smokes alittle. Weird vibration under load at take off coming from cvt area. Clicking during idle. Got oil changed both engine and gear but no difference. Took cvt case off and cranked her up lol did relize that one peice pops out to start up engine... And getting valves checked and or fixed friday plus new tire instaltion.. Dont wanna invest all the money if scooter is shot.. Tested compression with finger it was good i think. Just wanna fix smoke and vibration noise from cvt!! Any advice?? Cant view videos but scoot runs fine...

Yea i will check that but like i said she runs to good for the oil pump not to be working... I have no idea what the clicking noise is..

Whats another way to see if oil pump works besides taking valve cover off?? Anything else small i can take off?

Well new problem......! The last two days shes been puffing white smoke for like ten minutes during warm up idle... Ran great today back and forth to work but white smoke and clicking plus rpm change at idle high the low then normal then back high... And yes its warmed up when idle acts crazy... Buying new one atm 50 taotao in about a week because im not very confident shes okay... Bought it used. Gonna get one from txpowersports.. Free shipping and ive never heard of the place anybody...?? Help me on all topics

Yes ive got one already i bought used. She runs good but makes clicking noise during idle.. When she warms up at idle white smoke comes out the muffler... Runs good like i daid but dang i want to get another just to be safe and have more parts!!! Im driving in 40 or less degrees in north carolina but i can handle it!! Could i switch out the ten inch times on my new scoot when i get it for the 12 inch ones on my old one?? It would look mean!! Just hope they send me a good one.. Never dealt with txpowersports but shipping is free!!

Already have a taotao thunder 2014. It runs good but has clicking noise and funky idle... About to get manager spot at my job by january and need a super reliable scoot.. Ill have two so more parts!!! License is screwed... And i bought the thunder i got used so idk the future. Getting a whole new tool kit saturday for christmas.. Help me think
