Hey guys!

I am new to the forums (NW Burbs of Chicago) but have had my scoot for a while now.

Its a Roketa Maui 50 with around 2k miles on it. I recently decided to start modifying it as the 35/6 mph top speed and lack luster acceleration was just getting a little slow for local traffic.

Modifications:
"100cc" Big Bore Kit with cylinder head (like most its actually a 47mm bore)
Stock idle jet, # main jet
Blue racing CDI
Orange Ignition Coil
NGK Platinum spark plug
Uni filter
Shortened stock muffler (gutted/straight thru)
9g roller weights

After installing all these modifications, it is definitely a lot more torquey. BUT my top speed is not only 29/30mph! What gives?!

I have tried a plethora of different main jets ranging from stock #78 all the way to a # (too rich and bogged hard) and the # seems to run the best by far, and look the best from a plug chop at WOT, but its just not fast enough! I only weigh 135lbs so I would expect to see 40+ out of the big bore scoot.

Any ideas at all guys?
