Mainly loss of top speed. Before the oil change, it would turn off at lights (just putter out), and sometimes the standard headlight (not the one that turns on when you have the ignition set to on, but the one that comes up when you start the scoot) would not turn on when you started it (I just used highbeams while that was the problem, for night driving). I changed the oil the first morning after I topped out at about 25mph. Now, it's just the lower top speed. I just had a of a time starting it (had to use the kickstart) this morning, but it's also been sitting for 5 days...

I can't think of anything else. I'll try cleaning the carb.

Oil was Castrol Syntec SAE 10w-30.
