I'm sorry guys but I left out some info on my scoot, I have a 2014 Bashan BLX 150cc and I have the 1P57QMJ. It would seem that I would have to remove the cover on the right side of the scoot.

Are you talking fan cover or the cover holding the stator?

I've been having an issue with my electric start. When I try to start up my scoot I get this high pitch noise sounding like a baby elephant bellowing. I can stick my socket into the fitting on the fan and rotate it past TDC (like an old Model A) and the starter will engage and then it turns over and starts. I need to get a new stator ( the voltage is low on one of my wires from it) so I figured if it is the starter clutch I can tackle that while I have that side open. i am trying to get everything straight because I'm going to use this scoot to get my motorcycle license and I need it in tip top shape to get past the road worthiness inspection before the road exam. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was out for a ride a couple of days ago and while I was about to fuel her up I noticed my idle rise. I looked at my tach and it had risen about 500 rpms. I rode around for a while and the rpms remained the same,I had just rejetted it, and had the rollers set where I liked them. I lowered the rpms for now but we are getting to our cooler mornings and I want keep my enricher on. I found Alleyoop's video on testing an enricher and I removed it, ran it for about 10 minutes and the enricher only got warm. The plunger didn't move, so I decided to check to see if it was getting any voltage. I don't have a manual on this machine, so I was wondering, what voltage should I be looking for... AC or DC?

I tried Ride On Tire Balancer and Sealant. I have a set of Pirelli SL26 with a 12" front and 13" rear tire and noticed a much smoother, compared to the ride I got before. I get better tread wear also with it in my tires.

Just got through changing fluids, plug and adjusting A/F, checked belt and its holding up but I notice it's not getting all the way up variator face( But I'm going to try a little heavier roller, I currently have 12g's in there now) so I may order an 842-20-30 and save the 835 for an emergency spare. Once again thanks for the feedback.

OK, I happened to pick up an 835-20-30 and installed it Monday and have ridden a few days on it. I'm change out fluids this morning and while I'm at it I will pull the cover and check belt condition. Thanks for the feedback!

Broken Belt

I was out for a ride the other day when my belt broke. I opened her up, cleaned everything out and took the old belt to get it replaced. When I first purchased the belt I thought I was getting an 842-20-30, or at least that's what the tech at my local shop said I needed, but I found he had installed an 821-20-30. He installed it at about 6000 miles, I had a stock 107mm drive face then. I have recently stepped up to a 115mm drive (Koso) @ 9000 miles, my scooter is a 150cc Bashan BLX with a long case, 1P57QMJ engine and unfortunately I didn't get an owners manual with this bike. My question is can or should I, step up my belt size to the 842 to account for the travel of the new variator?
