My question is what makes u think it is oil? The antifreeze can feel slick like oil but in fact just be the additives. If you are not sure and before assuming take a sample to a local auto tec.and ask him/her. This should shead some light on your concern. The other way to do this is buy some antifreeze and compare. I would do it the first way l suggested,cheaper.

Well I just saw the post. I found with my 250/300 scoot that the battery is under sized for the application.l went to a 14 from a 9. Made a big dif.in the caning speed and no more click click click. Hope this might help.
