Side note--- I remember a story not to long ago about a biker..... They were protesting new helmet laws by NOT wearing a helmet.... Got into an accident and died.... Take that for what it's worth, Ironic but, a choice was made. Stay safe and keep an eye on the other guy  when it's your turn, you have to go. Heck you never know when your time is up..... A lightning strike or drunk driver could be just around the corner.... Worring to much may result in never doing anything. |

Hey FloridaGull, Just a thought...... The riding season is coming to an end in many parts of the country.... maybe take a few months to save up a bit more money---- Around March or April contact RapidJim ( a respected/reputable Icebear dealer ) tell him what you want then go from there...... You may keep an eye on your local craigslist as well... either way, like I said before get something YOU want. I have seen many riders buy a scoot that doesn't match their needs, only to let it sit and take a loss on the resale. As for riding gear, we all know the risks involved--- Saying All the Gear all the Time is one thing, accually doing it is another thing...... You do You Boo If you have a MC endorsement it doesn't really matter what displacement the ride is. have fun and do whatever you think is best for YOU and yours!!!!!!!! Good Luck!!!!!!!!! |

A bit of customization ( maybe a turbo ) could turn this into one sexy ride !!!!!!!!!!
Now about the quality.........
Maybe the same could be said for a Harbor Freight Predator engine..... Electric start is the only difference........

Hey guys, First, I apologize for the long delay in posting. Life happens. A few points and a conclusion......... Recently, the Supreme Court ruled that even flipping off a police officer is not a crime....... sure a different charge will be added but, the act of a hand gesture is not illegal in anyway..... It happens thousands of times daily on any road around the world. I never thought twice, I wasn't the only person in the Post Office Parking Lot to even Honk the SUV for his mistake..... Sure folks make mistakes-- like I said before No big deal... Live and Learn. I was however the only person on a scooter....... I assume if I had been in a car, not even the bottle would be thrown....... This guy saw someone weaker than him pointing out his mistake......... ( as others also did ) Heck a person at the mailbox laid on the HORN for a solid minute as the SUV drove by the wrong way........ To Chopper--- have a bone back at ya brother,----- Again not really a big deal but, I know how to take a lump... I have taken way more than given in my life Having a shiner can be a badge of honor....... Not for me though.... Is a Post office parking lot considered Public Property? Just a question...... OK, Now about that video...... No doubt some folks would love to see that A worldstar or youtube viral hit for sure...(no pun intended) I do have footage of me taking a 1,2,3..... Left to the face, Right to the face, and a Kidney shot..... Lights out, then waking up and falling again........ I have contacted police and my attorney ( yes I do have an attorney, mostly for business reasons ) Filed a police report including pictures and video........... embarrassing to say the least...... Thus, I have been instructed to NOT discuss the ongoing case...... Sorry........ However, I will say, A white SUV owner associated with MMA is now having legal issues---Again. Now, let's say we cross paths again....... I have made an Enemy as some would say...... I would give the finger again and let him know he hits like a girl.... I have only been in a handful of altercations in my 40 years.... some lost, some won..... Following another human over a driving mistake to inflict harm takes a special kind of silly----- Thank You all for the Feedback/ Support/ and Discussion Ride safe and, Don't be afraid to call out other folks bad driving !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just be careful....... |

Some folks will recommend a bigger scoot for a bigger rider... That kind of defeats the regulations involved. JMHO. I can only assume you need transportation..... At a decent price point. A 50cc will indeed work just fine. That being said however, take note of the top speed in your area. Especially on roads you will be using....... 35MPH is the limit of a 50cc for legal reasons...... Modifications will indeed let you do a bit more. Remember, if the speed limit is 35, most cars will be doing 40-45 anyway......... A heavy set rider can indeed "keep up" with traffic no problem---- So long as the scoot is taken care of. Out of the box performance may not be up to your needs though....... That's why forums like this exist Go ahead and get the scoot you want !!!!!!! Then, make it do what you want......... I say that if you get a 50cc or a bigger bike.... Either way. Ice Bear has some really nice trikes too...... Just a thought. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!! |

HA HA--- Indeed I was referring to feets.. Young lady!!!! How dare you have questions about my intentions.... Sadly though, my mother is looking at yet another surgery.... Diabetic Bone Infection...... One of her left feet developed an ulcer about 2 years ago....--- Bone infection ---- It seems the infection has spread.... Two left feet--- with holes bone deep.... OUCHIE .. Now, some Bone Shaving and Tendon trimming is needed. You know, to relieve the pressure Anyways, I wish you well, Just Remember.... Things could be worse!!! I apologize for this rant... Well I have a dilema yet again..... Today I rode my little scoot to the local post office. Droped off this months bills to be sent out. Now I am nursing what will be a Black Eye. Killer headache I may have deserved this--- Your poinion ?? I was on my little 50cc--- Honked the SUV for going the wrong way in a 1 way lot..... Not really a big deal but, I did give the finger to the SUV driver as other folkes were going the correct direction... This would prove to be my mistake. Anyway, I pulled out and this young man followed me... I was on MLK waiting for traffic to clear so I could turn left.... SUV driver gets behind me. The SUV driver Threw an empty bottle of water striking me in the head.... OK, Cool issue over, No big deal....... I go on my way... Silly situation with no harm done, Move along......... Well, I go about my business and park at a local convienience store to get some milk and an energy drink..... Guess who pulls up next to me..... Indeed the White SUV followed me for almost 3 miles.... Some words were exchanged and now I am the proud owner of a Black Eye, Busted lip and bleeding elbow..... Seems a piece of tooth is also missing..... The store is going to provide the video footage of this maniac who sucker punched me, got back in his car and ran..... My dilema--- what would you do with CCTV footage of someone attacking YOU ? I will be fine but, this guy is still on the road... Funny thing is I don't remember making a purchase---- I went in for milk and a energy drink..... I got home with 2 beers ?? No worries but, not what I intended Seems silly but, I think I was knocked out because some roid raging silly goose was unable to follow the road rules...... What would you do if attacked... I am inclined to let it be..... Although I could take other actions, I wouldn't even know were to begin. Oh well... Life happens and some folks are just crazy |
