Ok,put a new belt and roller weights on her. She rides amazing now. It sounds like my belt is hitting against my case. Is it too big? I got a 842/20/30 I couldn't tell what size the old one was,so I googled it.

Ok,I did the valves. They were all the way tightened. I put them at .005 it does take off much better, but now there is a little rattle coming from them. Should I go to .004? My weights will be in today. I ordered the 12 grams weights and hge variator tool. I'll order a belt this weekend. My only concern now it the valves rattling. Thanx a lot for all the help. It made a great difference so far.

Ok,just an update. I fiddled with it a bit, replaced a couple air suction hoses, new petcock, cleaned the carb real good. It rides great, had it up to about 60mph today....But...it has problems taking off. Not actually going UP the hills. But once I get her going,it's an amazing ride, until a red light or stop sign...It doesn't have an air/fuel adjustment on the carb. So I am still concidering new belt and roller weights?? Maybe??

Sorry, haven't really had a chance to work on her. Been working crazy hours lately. But no,it doesn't hesitate or bog down any. She'll run about 50 on flat land with no problem. I only weigh about 140. The bolts on the covers on both sides looked stripped,so I'll have to work on getting them out first thing. And also,is there somewhere I can download a manual or something. I don't think the previous owner has the hoses in the right spots from the carb. One hose bib has nothing on it at all. Also, how do I check the valves? Thank you everyone for all the help and taking time out your day.

Hey everyone. I recently purchased a 2014 taotao 150. I was told it just needed a petcock. It does great on flat land. Starts up fine, has decent power while driving. As soon as I stop at a stop sign etc.it takes forever to get back up to speed. If I hit a hill,it's like it doesn't even want to try to climb it. I have to literally get off and push it. Lol I really don't know much about this one. My 49cc was much easier to work on and such. Can anyone give me some pointers to try? I would greatly appriciate any and all help I could get.
