Ive only changed the belt once and I couldn't tell the brand of the old one. I think that I may have some tranny issues too. The v guides are on the variator right? if those are the v guides they are fine. I have not however checked or added any gear oil ever

Well im not leaking Oil like I was before. no blow by but I do get 2 small quarter sized spots under the bike after rides longer than 5 miles. i rode 40 miles one day then had to put in about 350 ml of oil. either it dried up or leaked out during the ride. Other than that only problem is my flippin belt just broke again...

Any ideas why my cvt belt would break again on my 150cc gy6 after only 3 weeks of being replaced? Ofc I got the cheapest chinese belt I could find but i want to say that a chinese belt should last at least a year.

geh3333 "Depending on the top end your looking at between 150 & $200 "how much top end will this upgrade give me? "with a big flow exhaust , carb , and unifilter your lookin at around $175+" and this set up? "high performance variator, and clutch assembly which will run you around $200" this? "final drive gears , a high performance cam , high performance cdi" and this? haha Im gaining weight fast and approaching 210. Maybe the cheapest thing for me to do is to save money on food and lose weight. lol

Oh, to answer your earliest question 70 to 75 mph would be legit. looking at your sig it looks like you do have a ton of upgrades on your bike. My budget is limping at the moment. what would be the cheapest upgrade for the most significant top end in your opinion? my only upgrade so far is a performance coil Best single upgrade would be engine displacement. Here is a complete 60mm Taiwan BBK (piston, jug, rings, performance head, cam). Missing only is a larger intake manifold ($20) and large carb ($varies), which can easily be added later: www.ebay.com/itm/SCOOTER-GY6-HIGH-PERFORMANCE-TAIWAN-60MM-CYLINDER-KIT-CYLINDER-HEAD-CAMSHAFT-/181785340901?hash=item2a53402be5This drops into most 150cc GY6 engines without any mods to the crankcase - just remove the stock parts and bolt in the new kit. Note: without also adding better breathing ~~~ carb, intake manifold, and air filter, plus better muffler ~~~ you will NOT get the full upgrade performance. But this is where i would start. thanks but i just sprung for the 59mm bbk, I was thinking of getting a unifilter since it seems to be the cheapest on the list of items. those and roller weights.

As Alleyoop would say. "There's no replacement for increased displacement." The BBK will help. Tuning your carb then CVT would be next. ok so displacement is dealing with the cvt and carb?
