I own the same bike, an 2011. The only problem i have had with it is a couple lights don't work, the front left turn signal, and the running rear tail light, which i just stuck an led on the back that i run at night. Other then that the thing has ran like a dream since i bought it a year ago. Just remember frequent oil changes, FULLY SYNTHETIC is a must!!! And a preventive maintenance job on it once every 1000 miles or so by a dealer and you should be good. Try taking it to a shop and have them look at it instead of trying to figure it out yourself
