Batteries are easy for me. Its finding the proper charger, and controller to use them safely and correctly that's harder.

Only actually about 4.5 miles roundtrip. I want the safety margin for both max range and reduced battery capacity due to age. Obviously, both only apply to an electric device. Two stroke, only the max range. Noise is also a slight concern,as I leave for work at 345am. And I live in a residential neighborhood.

Also, probably 49cc max. My local laws state any bigger, and I would need a license for it.

Hi, im a 29yo from western PA. I joined the forum to try and find either an electric or gas scooter to commute to and from work. It needs to handle 10 miles on a single charge. Doesnt need to go fast. 10-15 mph is plenty. I am not afraid of fabrication or electronics.
