my battery is on the floor where you rest your feet, and my tender has two clamp on clamps ,one for positive and one for negative ,i dont want to cut these, i was just thinking on adding two wires (dont know what gauge to use )one to each terminal make a small hole in corner of cover ,so i can connect the tender to......

hi everyone, i just wanted to know if anyone here would know of how to wire a battery for a battery tender so i dont have to take the battery cover off to put the tender on ,and put the cover back on to ride the scooter...thanks in advance
