Prison sucks! I have a friend doing time for a stupid decision he made, nothing that would hurt anyone but some stupid laws made by clueless lawyers. Far from reinserting people back into society, prison is a criminal school, in order to survive in there, you have to do stuff that you wouldn't do outside.

Well I saw this coming. a shame Couple things. Thanks for the pics, they help You have replaced the Cylinder and Piston assy and NOT the Cylinder Head or "Head". From the pics of the Old Piston could use one from the Skirt Sides, Front and Back. (Thrust Faces). From what I could see looked like Allot of Trash went thru the Motor, thats all that stuff stuck in the Piston Skirts. Although Not Good will Not cause your Motor to Go South and Lose Compression the Way You Described. A Valve Issue Will. Along with the New Cyl, Piston Assy a Typical "Top End Re-Build" will and heck, Must Include a Valve Job, New Valve Springs, Seals and a close Valve Guide Inspection, I have Little Faith anymore in sourcing a Local Valve job, Complete New Cylinder Heads are Cheap. You Need One with the Milage you stated. In the back of my mind has always been it need a valve adjustment and has been continually Adjusted and Checked on Overlap Stroke. I hope Im wrong there. that'll give ya bout 30 psi Thanks for the response, so what I'm gathering is I also need a replacement head Should I also replace the rocker arm assembly? Sucks that what I replaced didn't work but it was a great learning experience I would replace the rocker arm as well, if you already have a new cylinder, piston and head, it doesn't make sense to put the old rocker arm back on; it is cheap insurance that it won't fail next. After that if you still have low compression, I think is time for a new compression gauge, lol.

has anyone else noticed that here in the states, that gas prices fell through the floor at about the same time gun violence escalated? what if this isn't coincidence? what are the international forces that can explain this? Maybe it is a hint, fill up the tank and drive far away somewhere safe. lol, just kidding

My take-aways from that vid, besides the very obvious of don't cross the center line. 1) Friend was a serious jerk for taking off and driving over the guy's skills. I doubt this would've happened if friend hadn't taken off and left him, making him try to keep/catch up. If you're riding with someone like friend, let him leave you. Never drive outside your comfort zone. 2) Friend was a bigger jerk "I sure hope it (the bike) doesn't get totaled" then comments on broken parts. Uh, how about hoping your BUDDY isn't totaled? Ride your own ride, folks. Do not allow someone else to dictate a faster/rougher/harder ride than you want to do. >'Kat That reminds me yet another safety tip: Ride at 70% of your capabilities, leave the 30% left in case of an emergency.

This one that happened in April 2015 is a prime example of what can happen running wide. Rider was chasing a friend and panicked running wide into what appears to be a fire rescue vehicle which may be what saved him. Hitting a truck with life saving equipment and medics on board was a bit ironic. OUCH!!! Target fixation at it's best.
