The solenoid went bad again... I did some research to try and find out why it would fail twice in such a short period of time but couldn't find anything. Any suggestions? The brand new solenoid only lasted about 1 week.

The solenoid was the problem. Thank you again!

Got around to doing this this morning. The scooter started well when I jumped the solenoid. Gonna go grab one later today or monday and hopefully that's the extent of the problem. Thank you for the quick reply.

There is not any clicking when the starter button is pressed. This is what is baffling me. I was talking about the switch when you pull the brake in clicks. Just trying to say that I think the brake switch works.

Hello all,
First off, thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully help me out.
I have a 49cc Eagle Pony scooter and am having trouble with the starter. There are no sounds at all when the brake is pulled and the switch is pushed. It will kick start just fine and runs well. The brake lights work when it is on and off with the key in the on position. I tried recharging the battery first but that didn't help anything. I also tried replacing the battery with a known working one (friends scooter) and got the same results. When the scooter is on and I hit the starter button the starter spins so I know the button is good. I can still hear a clicking sound when pulling the right brake leading me to believe that it is good as well. All lights work just fine and the fuse does not look like it's blown. Any help is greatly appreciated. I will also note that the starter worked great for a couple weeks and it just stopped working overnight without me messing with anything.
Thank you!
