yeah that's way cool. I just upgraded to cone filter and removed air box on a friends scoot. he is gonna be bummed when i tell him we just threw away a perfect "tool" compartment.

I said cdi box, not coil. But yes go ahead and upgrade coil too.

If the speedo is turning at all it is probably not the cable, more likely the gear puck, see vidz on youtoo. also i would add a performance cdi for about $15, and also consider taking off the stock garbage air intake, which doesn't suck good, it doesnt breath right, put a little kn&n type $6 straight shot or bent jobber. Those will fix your power issues tim86.
