I have a Chinese made TaoTao 50cc which I've been trying to beef up.
I've made some heavy modifications, but I'm not getting the performance I want. This is a list of what I've changed.
When I first got it I struggled to reach 30mph; now it has significantly increased acceleration, but I top out between 35 and 40mph. Any suggestions on what to change or add?

- 100cc big bore kit
- Big bore cylinder head
- Upgraded CDI timer
- Upgraded timing chain
- Performance clutch
- Performance ignition coil
- Improved spark plug w/ a hotter load
- Performance exhaust
- I know the previous owner did modify the roller weights, but I'm not positive on those
- And a bigger jet on the carburetor
