Day #1.
I received email confirmation of order received from Greenearthscooters. Then a order cancelation and then a orders shipped confirmation. The new confirmation was priced $120.00 lower than my previous order. Verified at the bank and sure enough I was billed $120.00 less than what I was expecting to pay. Now that is pretty OK to me.
Powersportsbest sent a order confirmation with a note that there was a problem with billing. I was at work so I did not get this email till I got home. They did call me at 12:30 and I returned the call at 1:30. Tina was very polite and helpful through a few more calls between her and my bank to get the money through to them. Finally got everything straightened out with the bank and she said she would have the scooter out tomorrow. Always answered within a few rings. Never put on hold or had to leave a message.
So far so good except for my banking problem which was because of two large purchases in such a short period of time flagged to suspicious activity.

I just ordered a Roketa MC-119-150 scooter from Powersportsbest.com and a Verona 50 scooter form Greenearthscooters.com.
I ordered from both tonight online and received a email promptly from both sites with order confirmation and order number. Greenearthscooter included a "Post Delivery Inspection Guide" in PDF that was pretty well written and had plenty of pictures to help a beginner wrencher.

Yes, I will be purchasing a Roketa MC-119-150. I love the rugged look that it has. Of course it is the Chinese knock off of the Asian/European style Yamaha Zuma.
I have a 7 mile run every other week to my shared ride to work, top speed limit there and back is 40mph. If I want to try a run to work it is a 25 mile commute and if I work it right should be a 50mph top speed limit between there and my house. Of course I do not think that I would want to do that every day. Just looking to cut down on wear and tear on my other vehicles. I know I will probably get some flack about Chinese, but I have two Chinese 4 wheelers that have been awesome machines. I know that the scooters should be just as great since they have had 7 years to improve them. I would also like to set this unit up for some light off roading. Lots of forest and desert roads to explore in the area. Kinda like this guy....

Looks like I will be joining to scooter side of life. I have tried to ride some motorcycles in the past, but find them too intimidating for enjoyment. Thought I would try a scooter. I am going to be purchasing a Roketa MC-119-150. This is, of course, the Chinese knock off of the Asian/European Yamaha Zuma. I love the rugged look that it has.

Makes you wonder what they use to use before they had synthetic oils doesn't it?
I use Rotella 15-40w because it has the highest ZDDP additive for modern oil. What is ZDDP? Well it is something that all non-roller cam engines need to cushion impact on the valve train. I also add STP oil additive to boost the ZDDP in all my older motors that have non-roller cams. Also, it is just a great oil.

Hello, I am looking at purchasing a scooter for some fun and commuter work. I have never really rode two wheelers much outside of bicycles. I have tried to ride motorcycles a few times, but always felt intimidated by them. Thought I would try a scooter and see how it works out. I have a couple Chinese four wheelers and love them so I will be purchasing a couple Chinese scooters. One for me and one for my son. Thought I had better find a community to help with my scooter needs, so here I am....
George.
