I read somewhere on this forum that when testing the enricher you have to give it some time and then measure the needle length from before to after a period of time. If the needle moves slowly If I understand the system right you only have about 2 minutes. After 2 minutes the enricher will stop working, at least that is what I was told and there is no garauntee it is right.

Yeah, I'm just curious who told you to jack the throttle?
The user's manual told me to do that. Prior to doing that it would never even think about starting when cold. It made no sense to me either. When it is hot I do not need to do anything.

Can someone give me a stock number and source for a duplicate ignition key for my Baja 150? I see that I can buy a new switch with key but I am only looking for a second key. I tried the local hardware store where they said it looked just like some Ford keys but one side is too thick and it would not work. We have no lock shops or locksmith in this rural town. I tried to find it in the very lousy parts manual for the GY6 scooters but that scan is so horrible that if it had a key I would be unable to spot it! Does anyone know of a source for blanks for spare ignition keys?
Thank you.

I am still trying to get my 2007 Baja 150 to start and run when it is cold. During spring and summer it starts with no issues but if the mercury dips below about 50 degrees it is difficult to impossible to start. I have tried to follow the directions and jack the throttle 6 or 7 times prior to turning the key on but it just will not start. I did replace the carb with a new carb last year and that helped starting when warm but did nothing for cool to cold weather starting. What am I missing?
