Thanks, all, for both the warm welcome and the advice. My current home & auto insurer quoted me $87 PER MONTH. That's more than for full coverage with high medical limits for either of my cars! For a vehicle costing less than $1500 and which goes no faster than 30 mph or so. Seemed a bit.... excessive.

Hiya! I'm a real noob (purchased 1st scooter 4 days ago), and would very much appreciate some advice re: insurance. I bought a 50cc GMW RX50 scooter for my daughter to ride on surface/in-town streets in her open college campus. Can anyone offer some thoughts and advice on insurance? Should I get medical & liability as well as just replacement? Thanks, Y'all.
