Okay so I got it to start on its own without starter fluid from a cold start but it absolutely definitely has to have some throttle to start just a little bit about an 1/8 turn or so. I wasn't doing any choking on the airbox or anything it was just slight throttle and it did start on its own. It's always been TRYING to start, but it didn't hit until I only slightly gave it gas. I had a similar issue with a bad enricher on my cf moto v5 250cc, but this enricher checked out fine, moves as it should. Idk........

All I have to do is shoot it with starter fluid and it will run fine the whole tank from there it just won't start and before it warms up it will not actually run at idle it just tries to basically drop back off very quickly from over half a throttle to a dead cutoff. Once its warm it will hold idle just below where the clutches engage.

Yeah i removed that before i tried to start it. Corrct on vac line to carb. Here you can hear it almost hitting, but it never catches. Have to use start fluid to get it to fully start.
Sooooo close

The enricher tested good. I fixed the tear on the diaphragm on the side where the vac line comes in. Need to set the baseline on the mixture screw, how many turns from factory? Anything else i can do to it? I have plugged everything, tank and all vac wise except the intake to carb. Here's everything I threw out What it looks like now (A lot cleaner without those lines everywhere). Plugged this: This connects to.... This here: And these two got plugged up.

Ok got rid of everything now i need to know the factory carb settings so i can get this thing to start without starter fluid. It wont idle till warm and needs the airbox choked to run. Anyone know them?
I'm going to look for a tutorial on checking the valves as well to make sure i know what they are supposed to be set and how to do it. Looks like .004 and .005. Uhg its always something. My feeler only goes to .008. Time to go shopping.

I'm going to remove all of the vacuum system from the head, all of the canisters, gas tank, everything and plug it all off however it looks like I will need to keep the vacuum line on the side of the carb that pulls the diaphragm out is that the only one and should I just use the valve cover line to do that?

Saw this on the cheap and decided it was mine. Need to identify the engine so I can find the vac diagrams for it. It's 150cc, has an auto enricher. I'm diggin the drilled ABS disk system. Anyone have more info on this engine for me so I can start doing maintenance with the proper tech sheets?

Thank god I have lived a better life than those who live in fear. When you don't follow the same little maze everyone else does through their life you'll learn what freedom really is and quit being scared of breaking the little fence you're following through the hamster maze. The same people who will never take a chance in their life. It's depressing..... well for some, not me. I've lived 3 lives and have 3 more to go. If I get skinned along the way it's just another story I have to tell. The people who did nothing will have to sit in the corner of the nursing home and play bingo while I whip out the pictures of this awesome summer I had. I can't imagine certain ones of you have ever had a day of fun in your whole life. Well, what you think is fun. "they let me out of my cell to go play in the fenced yard, it's sort of like freedom". Enjoy that cage.......... I'm not the one being counter productive and riding something for freedom then doing everything in my power not to enjoy it properly because I'm afraid I might fall off. LOL

I'd only promote my damage to my hands, as I did intend to wear gloves that day and I think it's very helpful to have them. Otherwise as stated above in the thread I think it's useless to buy something that is intended to give you freedom and wrap yourself up in a cocoon so I do not support the idea of jackets, pads, and whatever else and wouldn't be associated with the idea of scare tactics to lose that freedom. I think gloves are a great idea because the reason my arms got chewed is because I could feel my hands being peeled off and I made the decision to start rolling to get off my hands after about 25 feet of sliding on them.
Everyone should own a pair of gloves, but I am just as against the idea of wrapping up in pads, jackets, and even full face helmets as I am FOR the idea of gloves. These are freedom machines and living in fear is not freedom. There is nothing like wind whipping your t-shirt around and screaming past your ears and up your shorts as you enjoy the sunshine.
I'll tell you about danger..... my buddy had a heat stroke riding in his leathers in June last summer. He fell off his bike at 30 mph. He got too dizzy too fast to slow down any more than that.

Well 8 is a tablet system so I have no idea why they put it on their desktops and laptops. On tablets it may be one of the best attempts ever to de-throne the IOS platform. It's designed for a touch screen though and primarily for tablet sized screens which is why the pages scroll at a certain rate when you try to scroll down they scroll by blocks. I have 8 booting on my MacBook so I can play with it and I've been very impressed with it as a tablet OS. It's horrible for a laptop or desktop OS. I have always dual booted my Macs since Windows XP so I have stayed fluent in both OS's, but I'm a Mac and I still give 8 it's props for a MOBILE OS, but not anything else. I have three iPads, two iMacs, two Macbooks, and an iPhone and it's all I personally use. I can't stand Windows, myself. Here's my MB booting Win 8 Pro Ultimate.
