The software upgrade hasn't went into effect yet and Proboards is having some issues on some things right now and they are working on it. Believe me I know I just spent 30 minutes putting in 3 pictures which should have taken 5 minutes. If I even login on more than one forum right now I get a lot of problems.

We all know that I put in a new picture scroll at the top of the page and I built this with one thing in mind and it was a place for members to post a picture of their favorite scooter.
In time my hopes is to be able to make this just pick up pictures from a gallery where members just place them but until then if members will send me a picture/image of their scooter I'll put them in myself.
I also hope to soon be able to add text above member's photos saying who they are, working on it right now.
But in the mean time I'm sure all are tired of seeing just my scooters so here is what I need from you guys to put a photo of your scooter in the scroll.
Send me you photo on this thread, I am going to sticky it at the top.
The photo needs to be 180 pixels wide X 135 pixels high.
If you send a very large photo and don't edit it to this size and when I have the time I will do it but do know when you edit or down size or up size a image too much it becomes distorted and blurry in most cases.
So send them to me and be part of the above gallery and when I work out the text I'll put your John Henry on them too!
BTW at this time one photo only please and unless you have a team as in hubby and wife then send hers and him!
I'll be looking for those scoots!

firefox 20.0.1 I am not seeing the pictures scroll. If I click a pic, it opens in a new tab. I checked it using IE9 and 10, firefox, opera and chrome all worked well. Delete your temporary internet files, re-start your computer and try again. Yes when you click on a picture it will bring up the owners host, will in the future have all images in a private host where they cannot be viewed in that matter. To make the scoller stop again just put the cursor at a spot and hold it still don not click, same to make it change directions, put cursor on left side and drag to the right. JR

I know the slider you are talking about well and it doesn't do what I can make this one do. I have the simple part of it up now. I can adjust it to make the images as big as a house if I want but due to the size and things we have in this forum I don't want to put images in that will make the overall board longer than it is, you have to come to a happy medium.
We need to remember people with smaller screens and resolutions. I have a new screen that is big as a flat screen TV but when I'm sizing I go to my wife's computer and adjust things to fit a smaller screen not to mention people with laptops and those who use a phone a lot.
Plus Nivo slider for the person who installs it is OK but to put images in the painful process of doing it is no easier than what I've made here. Also my goal with this script is to make it grab pictures from a spot that members post in and automatically grab them and post, can't do that with Nivo Slider it is a pbp. type plugin and one has to get and have permission to change the script which I doubt they would allow, it may be free but it's also a copyrighted licensed software, not going to go that path.
I'm still working with it and will keep all up to date.

I'm sure all have seen the picture scroll at the top of the page. It's something that I've been working on awhile and it has one purpose and it's for members to send in their favorite photos and we will put them in to view.
Right now hopefully sometime this evening I will give all of you the details of how to send photos and also I'm going to put in a section just for that.
You see it scrolls right to left and just for kicks put your arrow cursor in the middle, it will go to a hand and the scroll will stop, put the cursor to the left and it will reverse going left to right.
The pictures you see right now are of my and my wife's scooters and some of the scenery too.
Again I'll get back with the how to details later on. This will also be on the new V5 forum too.

What are you running? Windows 7 or 8? What browser? Go here and run the free download for anything: www.malwarebytes.org/lp/malware_lp/Go to "manage add ons" disable one thing at a time to see if it clears up. Start with Java. If you find the culprit then uninstall it and re-install a updated version. JR
