I have the roar, 2014' mine has a horizontal engine. I guess I'm happy with it. only have 500 mi on it does seem to have plenty of power, not very happy with powerrideoutlet though. they don't seem to give a crap about helping with things once you get the scooter.

I have a mirror that won't stay in place. It swivels to easily. I have looked to see if there is any way to tighten it up around the ball, but have not found anything. It was like that since new bout month ago. Is there an easy fix for this or do I need to try to find a new mirror that is a close match to the other one?

I was looking at the service manual for Yamaha YP250 last night. Incidently, I think I retrieved it from here. Other than a slightly different body style it looks like it will be helpful for working on my roar250. I believe the engine is the same as what's in mine. Just thought I would mention It because the scooter may be having more sales now and I know I was trying to find something to help me with repairs

I got one from powerrideoutlet a few weeks ago, ordered a roketa mc122-250, it was labeled a Roar250 39c when I got it. Had some starting issues, but it seems much better now. I only have 300 miles on it but seems run very well. a coolant hose was loose and couldn't get much help from dealer as to how to access radiator (my 1st scooter). I'm happy with it so far. the engine is parallel to the ground, not upright. I don't know for sure what that means, but that is for sure.

don't know if I did this correctly, but this is pic. in reference to spandi, yes that is what my scoot looks like, but the motor on left side looks a little diff. Is this the pic you needed Allyoop? Also, it does have disc brakes front and rear

I guess I should mentioned that, but what I wanted to know is if it is a Honda clone or how many cc, if anyone knows anything about it, reliability, etc.

can anyone tell me what kind of engine is in my "roar250 39c", that's what it says on it anyway. I did order a mc122 250, but this is what I received. they look the same so mabey just a different name. Anyway, the cylinder does not face upright, it's more parallel to the ground, no kickstart, watercooled, very hard starting but its getting better. seems to have plenty of power. I did change oil after 200 mi, the drain is on flat part of bottom of crankcase.

I don't know what if anything I have to do to engine. I know it starts real hard and not very reliably. Do you know what kind of motor is has? I have not been able to see it til panels are off. I need to get to wireing for tail and brake lights too, there is some kind of short , also need to check out right rear turn signal bulb or something it does not work. I'm assuming you have one. are you happy with it? I really did not know what to expect, mabey I should have done more homework before I bought this.

Hello, I'm totally new to this, so plz bear with me. I'm sure after awhile I'll learn to navigate around this.
I'm retired 2 yrs now and decided to get a scooter! I ordered a roketa mc122 250, what I got was labeled something different. I think its ROAR 250 39c. It looks the same as the one I ordered though. I don't seem to get much knowledgable support from my dealer in California, But I'm getting the feeling that this is normal. I'm hoping I can find someone else that has one of these so mabey I can At least find out how to get body panels off without beaking any thing.
