It was the starter clutch ... I opened my starter thinking was somthing with that and messed it up .. cost me 50 for a starter cause I wantedto mess eith stuff o well live and learn ... starter clutch was my issue tho

I have a 2012 tao tao 700 miles .. was out riding earlier bike has always run fine but to day I parked outside the store came out push the start button and the starter is just make a spinning sound I kept doing it and it start turning a little then stop and start doing the spining thing agin was going to take the starter off and check it bike has been out sidw under a cover foe a few days .. I also tired to kick start and its not working its like stuck and hard to move its not kicking right at all .. had to walk the heavy bike miles home today smh ... I need solution to this today pose to ride the the bike 80 miles to detroit friday if it want start ima have to cum out  bucks for it to be towed help please ! |

Had it out on easter got up to 55 with my old lady on the back still rode nice .. going to install my new blue lights this weekend .... still haven't put my 12g sliders in yet im waiting till I ride her 1 1/2 hours away to my new home witch should be fun smh long ride ..... was going to rent then I thought wat the LETS RIDE ! Lol she real fun to ride tho smooth to ..

Wow she looks great ! Did u notice a difference when u put the cdi in ? And would like to know your top speed I think I should have went 11g sliders since I know there 14g stock I like that filter look very cool .. im going start on mines tomrrow afternoon .... be safe man burn rubber not your soul brother she looks nice !

How do u put pics on here and wats a p&p pipe and is the nyc cdi Orange ? Are u going to change the stock Variator or just put the sliders in the stock Variator ? Let me know how that works for u .. gud to know some who has the same exact bike .. ill post a pic of mines on here when I figure how im about to install blue neon lights on mines .. hope eveything works out gud I should get my order of my parts in around friday but not going to install un tell I move to my new house in 2 weeks I ordered the blue air filter and 12g sliders and the Orange cdi no rev limit.. ima get the 2000rpm clutch clamps as well soon ... whats ur next move ?

Well I jumped on the freeway a few times on a 150 its not fun lol I like to stick with the street .. I plan to get a 600 very soon but ima keep my scoot cant beat the gas price and I just lovem they easy to fix and the parts dont cost a arm and leg in the economy today best of both worlds I just hope when I put all this stuff on my bike its still reliable and dont start messing up on me .. I read that the Orange cdi has made black smoke come out and the sliders pop belts if thats the case ill keep mines stock have no prob with it.. rides gud ... just like messing with stuff ... what should be my next move on upgrading ?

Lol thanks guys for all your comments very much appreciated .. last night I ordered 12g sliders a Orange performance cdi no limt rev .. and a blue air filter .. and a 4 piece blue neon light kit ..... wonder what thats gone do not looking to be the fastest just wana zip around detroit side streets .. I know I got to choose between top end and liw I want a little of both thats why I brought 12g sliders and going to mix with 10 g sliders down the road .. I just want litle more out her not the world  60 -70 mph ill be happy already was doing 60 all stock ... |

I have a 2012 tao tao im looking to upgrade I plan on starting with rollers to dr pulleys 12g or 13g carb filter and a prfomance cdi I weigh about 240 .. just looking 4 advise would like to get up to about 70-80mph with good take off please help appreciate it .... ![]() |

Hey do u know weight of the stock rollers .. and if not when u replace them can u let me know been trying to figure this out to know how low I wana go im thinking bout going 12 g or 13 g
