While taking the first video the recording stopped. Wish it didn't but anyways, the lost video clip showed the scooters dash just like video 2, except when accelerating it would top out and drop once it 5000 rpms then while dropping I would hit the accelerator and it would try to accelerate but drop rpms sputtering. All of a sudden I hit the accelerator again and it jumped past 5000 rpms and sounds like it's back they way it should be and was running, weird! May have just been a bad air/fuel ratio due to that fact it was running fine the other day then the next day it was idling way to high due to air/fuel ratio screw being out to far.

I'll post a video in a few hours it does climb up to the 4 on rpms then drops, idles normally at 2000rpms.forgot to mention I got a big bore kit on it, they said it's the 100cc kit but I can't tell. It also has I think 5g rollers(which ever one increases acceleration), I forgot but i know it's a gram less or more than the stock which are 6 or 7g grams.

I've got everything put back together tweaked the fuel air ratio screw. Scooter started up let it run for a while. But noticed it lost acceleration when above 4,000 rpms took it oof the middle kickstand hit the accelerator throttle not it began to go but lost acceleration went about 2ft, hit the accelerator again moved about a ft. ? Any idea what it is?

Got it starting and running, but it will not accelerate past 4,000/5000 rpms. Took it off kickstand and it will start to go but loose acceleration power?

I successfully got it to start 1 time only after spraying the carbuerator with carb. cleaner. I tried to adjust the screw counter clockwise but sounded like it was about to cut off then adjusting it clockwise it got alil better then died but still was not right. Or maybe it was right and it's clogged because I think the only reason it started was the excess carb. Cleaner fluid? After that it won't start unless I put my hand over the air hole. I'm bout to test my theory on carb cleaner then clean carb out correctly if it is clogged.

Still playing with it, can't get it right, but anyways alleyoop should I be losing a lot of gas through the air box or is that a symptom of a clogged pilot jet.

So I got a new problem, but similar symptoms to a old problem I had, except I have compression, spark and fuel (tested for all 3). It started when I was about to go to work the other day. The scooter started but cut off when I hit the accelerator. The next day I noticed the air/fuel ratio screw was unscrewed further than it should have been. The scooter would not start, battery died trying (multiple times) would not start. While charging it began to start but sounded like something stop it from fully cutting on in the cvt cover. Inspected cvt nothing cleaned and greased be bendicks gear. Still not starting although it turns over .I believe it is something to do with gas or spark, What could it be?

Thanks inkyben, I've got my scoot back been riding for a week. The mechanic told me take it easy, so I'm breaking it in slow already put 200 miles on it, I got a 100 to go. Yesterday I checked my valve clearance and it was in: .008 Ex: .007 I have adjusted them to In: .004 & Ex: .005. I did notice a slight vibrating noise, very very low sound when I rev'd up the engine before I adjusted the valve's. I still hear it after adjusting, I read something earlier stating it maybe the valve clearance needs adjusting, but I've done this. Any idea's? I post a video tomorrow if I can capture the sound. Also I noticed it is a little slow on take off and pickup, any idea's?

Next day would not start. I can't start it by kick start either. I'm going to try checking for spark. Also how could I test the en richer. I thought it was the starter but it turns the Bendix. Not sure what it could be. Any ideas. Update: Question: if my stator is bad, is there a way to start my scooter? can someone post how to test the stator correctly? i think I'm not doing it right and videos i have watched are confusing. I have tested it, think it is good, but I'm going to retest it now and post the results. Also I have a new carburetor, fuel valve, spark plug & coil. I have good compression, valves are in spec. cleaned starter out and it works great. I try to start it and turns over just will not start and the battery dies 15 Min's later from trying to start it up. Seems like the stator to me after all the trouble shooting I have done, also what about the regulator/rectifier could it be that I have tested that as well and think its good. Ordered the wrong regulator, gotta send this one back for the right one which I will probably have coming with a new stator. Can some one please help with instructions on testing the stator? So I can be 100% sure this is it, my baby been down 2 weeks now, but hey I learned a lot and didn't put any $ in a mechanics pocket! Final Update: I just spoke with the mechanic, its appears my problem is bad rings. I should of ran a real compression test, but anyways lesson learned. Next time or for anybody with a similar problem check compression and if you got to open her up. I would do it my self but he's already got it and I've never done it before, but after downloading an reading on how to do it, its not hard, but you do have to be careful you don't mess anything up. Also I was unsure of what size Big Bore Kit he installed when I bought it, he said the 100cc but these are mislabeled from what I have researched. Well I am about to order a performance muffler and carburetor, which he recommended, I asked him about upgrading. Question to anyone, If your replacing rings, what else should you also replace?
