OK, so i bought a the 100cc BBK from ebay, came with cylinder, air filter, CARB(kiehin copy), exaust, big valve head(pre-asymblebled), 3 JETs (
,
, 100 plus the one in the carb), oil pump, a whole bunch of gaskets and performance variator.

SO,
now the head and valves are installed valve clearing was 1st: 0.010inch intake/0.009inch out.
i took out whatever size of main-jet that was in the carb and replaced it with
from the getgo
installed carb and airfilter,
replaced feulines with heavy duty 1/4 lines,
replaced battery with brand new one,
spark plug is 2 weeks old(took it from old engine)
oil is 5w30 (cause of cold was snowing a week ago)
new exaust.
THE PROBLEM! is that it took me about an hour for me to get it started, with idle screw turned down all the way, i got it running about another hour later (to where i could drive around the block) by turning the air/fuel screw counterclockwise about 3 times (starting from all the way in, i counted)
so it is running but i cannot get it to idle steady, it is sputtering (the carb is being shakin) by what i would call a misfire or back-pressure or something, but unevenly in no particular rhythm. and it is driving me nuts! plus every so often it will also cut out completely while in idle.
the motor seems to be running fine when Im driving it, just idle and low speeds it seems to not run very well and i rely on this scooter for school and work on a daily basis.
I have been reading alot about this the past 2 days i have been trying to figure this out,
the a/f screw on the carb is basically falling out of the thing would this be considered running it rich or lean?
What is the Difference between a big valve system and a regular valve system??(i put the rocker arms on that came with the KIT AND timing is correct! double checked)
Are the gaps correct??? seems that everyone and thier mother have a diff opinion about what setting they should be set at 0.003/0.004 - 0.005/0.005 - 0.010/0.009 whatever IDK would be nice to have a solid number that i could set them at and sleep well at night with.
I googled and youtubed everything plus talked with a few friends that only have basic car engine knowledge, i am good at tearing stuff down and putting stuff together, dont see why this is such a hassle. :/
