Hi All: Just thought I'd post a follow-up to my problem with the Chinese Surprise. Problem Solved!! It turned out to be the ignition switch. Thanks for all your suggestions.

Hi All: I have a mysterious happening with my new ( 11 month old, 8 miles on it) Chinese scooter. Rode it uneventfully in Florida in November. Disconnected the battery and returned home to New York. Returned to Florida a week ago, connected the battery and nothing happened. When I say nothing, I mean nothing. No ignition, lights, horn, brake light, NOTHING. Charged the battery until fully charged and still nothing. Checked the fuse and holder, both good. Removed the cowling to expose the back of the ignition switch to determine if there is power to it. There is power to the switch. I know it's Chinese, but I thought it would last more than 11 months. Thanks, Grumpyjk
